Lingerie...the topic you guys have been waiting for! However, a few tips to start off with what may be helpful to you if you are planning to get some lingerie for your girl on Valentine’s Day.
First and foremost, guys have this tendency to purchase lingerie for their women that the females would never wish to wear in a million years. Girls, you know what I mean? For example, most women do not wish to be dress up as a dominatrix, clad in leather, accompanied with a whip. Don’t get me wrong, I am quite sure there are a few select groups of women who do not mind this get-up. However, in general, women prefer a softer style.
When you go into the shopping endeavour, try to take your own mind out of it, if possible. Don’t buy things you wish she would wear. Yes, all guys have fantasies, but, really, your goal is likely not to offend your Valentine, so why bother with the Catholic school girl outfits or the French Maid costumes? Also, your goal is surely not to waste your money by having the outfit hanging in the back of her closet, right?
If she already has lingerie, take note of the style that she normally wears. Does she have an assortment of thigh high stockings and garter belts? Well, then, a nice bra and garter set may be a nice addition to her collection. Lace has a tendency to make a girl feel sexy, and, subsequently, she will likely think you view her as sexy if you purchase lingerie in lace. However, be careful with this because some lace is very itchy. This may then lead to your gift remaining unused and unappreciated. As you are going by the looks of the lingerie, also take into consideration the feel. Softer lace will bring better results for you and her.
If you have spent hours shopping and racked your brain with what to get her, and you have still come up with no ideas, go for a baby doll or camisole type lingerie. Because of the loose cut design these have, most girls will wear them.
One other tip is to know her favourite colour and purchase the lingerie based on this.
